Story
We are doing this to support children and young people facing challenges far greater than ours.
Wigan Youth Zone gives young people in our community a safe place to belong, grow in confidence, and build a better future. For many, it is a lifeline — offering support, guidance, and belief when it matters most.
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital provides world-class care to children and vital support to families during the hardest moments imaginable. Their work saves lives and brings hope when families need it most.
From 3rd June to 6th June 2026, a team of 10 runners will take on an extreme endurance challenge: covering 550 miles over four consecutive days, starting at the Brick Community Stadium and finishing in Paris at the Stade Jean Bouin.
Each runner will also act as a support cyclist for another teammate, rotating roles across the journey. That means limited rest, physical exhaustion — and complete reliance on teamwork to keep moving forward.
This challenge represents resilience, sacrifice, and standing shoulder to shoulder the same qualities these charities show every single day.
Every mile we run is for the children who need care.
Every mile we cycle is for the young people who need support.
Every donation helps turn this challenge into real, lasting impact.
Thank you for supporting us — and for helping change young lives ❤️🏃♂️
