I've raised £3000 to Sally Crook to help fund the therapy for liver metastases from ocular melanoma by Running the London Marathon 2024.

I'm running the London April next year and thought if i could raise as much money to help a family in need, i'll be happy. A marathon isn't easy for anyone, this is going to take a lot of dedication and time
Let me to tell you a little bit about their story.
Sally Crook is the mother of a good friends of mine, who has unfortunately been diagnosed with a terrible disease called liver metastases, Cancer that starts in one part of the body and spreads to the liver.
The Crooks are trying to raise money for life life prolonging treatment, called chemosaturation therapy, which isn't available through the NHS.
At the moment, they're unsure how many rounds of treatment are needed but at least 3 which cost roughly £40K per round.
Key points about Chemosaturation:
● Chemosaturation is a revolutionary treatment that has shown success in almost 90% of patients by either providing tumour stability, reducing tumour load or in some cases, almost removing the patient’s cancer completely
● In 2021, NICE approved chemosaturation as a safe and effective treatment for improving overall survival
● Worldwide data obtained by trials has shown that it has a high response rate and improves the control of metastatic ocular melanoma
● Chemosaturation can help maintain quality of life as symptoms are typically much more easily managed than many other cancer treatments
● Post chemosaturation, patients can live symptom-free and experience a prolonging of life that may not be possible without this treatment
Any donation would be massively appreciated
Thank you in advance.
