Story
Lancaster City Council colleagues will be walking, running, swimming and cycling for.... yes, 24 hours!! Taking place from Midday Friday 27th May to Midday Saturday 28th May 2022, the aim is distance!
We will be raising awareness and much needed funds for the following organisations, and we would really appreciate any donations if you are in a position to make one:
1. Lancaster Infirmary.
2. Morecambe Bay Foodbank.
3. FirstLight Trust.
This is not an easy challenge and colleagues have been training for weeks and months! But we will all support each other along the way.
Family, friends and colleagues are welcome to join us for part of our journeys and we would certainly welcome the support and company wherever possible.

2 years agoWe did it!!! 24 hours is a loooooong time! Details of our awesome teams achievement's: Stephen G - Walked 45 miles around Lancaster Sheila A - Walked 42 miles around Lancaster Lizzi W & Kev B - Walked the 58 mile Pendle Witches Trail Kath T - Zwifted 326 miles with 2987m of elevation Lee Mc - Ran 101 miles around the district Thank you all for your donations....it is massively appreciated!
