amuary has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia which was missed by doctors and walk in centre. If his blood was tested in the routine checks which they didn’t do, they would have caught it in early stages. Now it is acute, he faces at least 6 months in hospital in isolation, away from his children who all miss him dearly. His two older step sons are struggling with exams. His 5 year old son cries at night as his daddy isn’t there to read him a bed time story, and his 3 year old daughter keeps on asking why he’s not home!

So, not only has this diagnosis effected the family emotionally, as their mummy needs to split between her husband and children, but financially too!

The worry of how bills are going to be paid among the above stresses, are hitting the family hard.
