Disability support

Story

As coach of Middlesbrough Rugby Club under 13s we had some tragic news last summer of the sudden passing of 7 year old Natalia whilst her and her family were on holiday in Sardinia. Natalia was the younger sister of one of the players in my team. Natalia had a very rare condition, X chromosone deletion which meant she attended Priory Woods School who were able to give her the support that she required. In her memory myself and the rugby family are hoping to raise money for Priory Woods so that they can purchase a minibus that will provide all of the children with various disabilities the opportunity to go on various trips to places such as the seaside, the park or the shops to help them to become more independent.

As Natalia's father is Italian I came up with the idea of walking up Roseberry Topping 15 times which is the equivalent height to the highest point in Italy, Mont Blanc.

Any donations would go to this fantastic cause and will be used to improve the lives and learning experiences of all the children at the school.
