HOMELESS CAMPAIGN PLEASE READ ,

right everyone it's nearly that time of year , that I ALWAYS do a homeless campaign over Christmas , Christmas is especially hard for the homeless due to it being spent with loved ones which most of them do not have 😟

Every year at Christmas time I start collecting certain items and I hand them out personally around Brighton / Eastbourne area , a lot of the people I've encountered are not the " typical drunk " ( other people's words not mine ) quite a few are ex veterans . Every year since doing this we have near doubled the amount of people we've helped , I started this on my own three years ago with year one helping 16, year two helping 30 and year 3 helping a STAGGERING 66 people , this year in aiming for the 100 mark. Whether I succeed or not it doesn't matter to me because even if I help ONE and give them some happines and warmth then that's all that matters ,

Last year we helped 66 people with a full set of clean warm suitable clothing . And a shoe box with essential wash items , hat , gloves , small food parcels with treats , a wind up torch, a small Christmas present , a mince pie etc etc and also handed out a freshly cooked Christmas dinner with ALL the trimming and heated it up in the back of my van on a camping stove .

They deserve this too .

This small gesture made many cry HAPPY tears ,

I'll be doing the same this year on Christmas Day and it wround this time ,

I am in need of all items in the list below , please remember I'll be handing and doing all this myself NOT HANDING INTO A BIG CHARITY AND ALOT OF THE ITEMS BEING "lost " or " borrowed "

its so rewarding seeing there faces and having that little chat with them that most people do not do,

Items desperately needed as follows :

1) the biggest and most important are WATERPROOF sleeping bags

2) umbrellas

3) thermal hats and gloves ( super important )

4) thermal clothing

5) warm jackets

6) waterproofs

7) essential wash kit items , toothbrushes , toothpaste , razors , alcohol gel , sanitary products for women , etc

8) new clean underwear and socks etc

9) wind up torches

10) Christmas food goodies , mince pies , chrisps small chocolates that can fit in shoe boxes , ( penguin sized bars )

11) also were in need of a camping stove with new gas cannisters to be able to heat the fresh dinners up that I'll cook myself personally

12) meat veg and potatoes, sausages , bacon , stuffing etc . All to cook for xmas dinner ( because these items don't last long I would ask for a small supermarket voucher to purchase such items , no cash please as not allowed to accept )

13) small tin style containers ( like what take always use ) for food to be transported and kept warm from my home to the designated area )

14) hiking bags to carry there personal / living items

15)and anything else that I've forgotten that you think could be of use to these poor souls ,

Please understand we cannot accept things like fevers etc as these good moisture , and can cause illness due to damp etc , also if I've forgotten anything above please remember these people are often moved on by authority and have to carry a lot around with them so hewvier items are hardly needed

16. new items such as hat , gloves , socks , underwear etc please feel free to grab an extra pair whilst out shopping

Last year I was nearly arrested 3-4 times in under 6 hours due to it being classed as " encouraging them / hanging around the areas "

I do not care about this , I will fight this on the day , and risk it still , I cannot and will not sit back and watch this !!!!!!!

I CANNOT ACCEPT CASH AT ALL , IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE ALONG THEM LINES THEN PLEASE PROVIDE SOMETHING LIKE AN ARGOS VOUCHER FOR ME TO PURCAHSE NEW SLEEPING BAGS ETC, I will post picture of bought items and receipts to prove all monies get spent correctly , all fuel costs , parking costs etc I will cover this myself and nothing will come out of what's donated ,
