Story

Earlier this evening (19/11/19) the Leeds Chiefs Ice Hockey Club were the unfortunate victims of property theft. A large proportion of the teams equipment, including all of our sticks and a great deal of our protective equipment was stolen.

In particular, 30 navy blue True Hockey helmets were stolen. These are the only helmets of this kind in the country, so if you come across one it is stolen. The other notable items missing are navy blue True Hockey gloves, and an assortment of True, Bauer, CCM and Warrior sticks.

As you are all aware Leeds Chiefs IHC are new to the league this year and to be a victim of a despicable theft is just unthinkable.

I am sure the hockey family can pull together and try and raise some funds in the unfortunate event that their equipment dosen’t get recovered so that it may go a little way to paying for replacements. It shouldn‘t have to be this way however they shouldn‘t have this to put up with this soo early in their hockey life when they havent even got a rink yet (sorry kicking you while your down haha)

If the missing kit is discovered and found to be undamaged or the funds raised are not required by Leeds IHC then i shall donate all monies raised equally to London Raiders player Ross Connolly who recently sustained the cut to his Achillies and had to undergo an operation to repair it and to NIHL Live facebook page to go towards a new server so they can continue the live score updates nationally which unfortunately had to be shelved recently.
