Story
Having cancer is scary. Having cancer that won’t go away and keeps finding ways to grow is even scarier. Lee’s oncology treatment plan has been excellent, he has seen some of the best doctors and surgeons, their belief in traditional cancer treatments is unrelenting. Some have been more successful than others and yet whatever this oncology team plan for Lee, the cancer cells just keep fighting back.
Recently Lee was admitted back into hospital, new tumours diagnosed and an intensive radiotherapy plan began almost immediately. As always, we are researching other treatments that could help regain his health and starve the cancer cells. This means a new journey which will be using alternative methods in conjunction with traditional treatments. A lot of literature explores how the body generates glucose (which the cancer cells are feeding from) and how the use of alternative treatments and supplementary methods can starve these cancer cells and hopefully put Lee into remission.
While there is a wealth of resources available, they are expensive and ultimately all lead to reaching out privately for treatment. Time is of the essence so it would be wonderful if you would feel able to help organise a fundraising event, make a voluntary donation or if you know of any business or organisation that would like to sponsor or help fund a treatment, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please let’s help Lee to be free of this gruelling disease and to be a part of his recovery. Thank you.

4 years agoIt is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that our Lee is now at rest 💔💚 As a family we are extremely proud of everything Lee did to fight this disease, helping others, making the most of life itself and the lasting legacy he leaves behind. We are indebted to those who helped Lee receive private treatments in Austria and will be forever grateful for your kind and generous donations, messages of support and fundraising events. You helped to give Lee hope and quality time with his wife Sarah and especially their little daughter Eva.

4 years agoA huge heartfelt thank you to everyone that has donated, sponsored, ran events, supported events, sent messages of support and made christmas card donations, we wish everyone of you a wonderful Xmas. Your support has enabled Lee to undergo specialist integrated therapies to give him the best chance of remission. He has recently returned from his 3rd visit to Austria and finished the treatments strong.
