Turning 40 this year I decided to set some goals for myself, one of them was to run at least ten 5k Parks Runs @Wardown Park on Saturdays (I am on number 8), I then decided I needed to push myself further so I decided to run the 'Love Luton Half Marathon' this Sunday.

To begin with this was just a personal goal for me but after meeting Elaine Cruise from the Mary Seacole Housing Association I am keen to raise money for the charity. I would like to commit to raise a minimum of £150 to help homeless YOUNG people in Luton. The Association provides value for money, quality supported accommodation to young single homeless people, enabling them to develop the skills needed to move from a state of dependence to that of independence.
