On the friday the 29th june me and my fiance gave up a day of holiday in turkey to help in a dog shelter in köyceğiz.

The dog shelter is home to over 450 dogs, dogs with disabilities, illnesses, puppies and even the elderly!

The shelter has no paid staff and depends on the volunteers.

Every day the kennels need cleaning, bowls filled with fresh water, poop scooped up and the dogs fed a healthy meal.

with Being in the shelter under an hour it was heart breaking to see a young puppy only a few weeks old wasnt going to make it, to find out not many youny puppies make it braught me to tears!

I couldnt understand why these dogs didnt havent homes, they were soo friendly, loving, wanting to give you all their love and attenion in returning wanting a cuddle or a kiss

Helping this shelter for the day was one of the toughest experiences i have ever had but i will do it again

these people are heroes, without them these dogs wouldnt have a safe place to call their home, they wouldnt recieve the treatment thet need, why wouldnt be able to have a goodnights sleep or a full tummy at night.

so ive set up this page to help them with the funds they need for food, operations, beds, medication and everything they need
