I am the CEDAR Participation Worker in the Scottish Borders, working with C&YP who have experienced domestic abuse. These amazing C&YP would like you help and support a new developing woman's group for women who have experienced domestic abuse. The woman's group currently have zero funds meaning they have no venue to begin the work they hope to do. The aim is to give these strong amazing women a voice by looking at the services available in the Scottish Borders and ways they can make improvements. And further raise awareness and support others and the services through their own experiences. They C&YP have expressed a number of fund raising ideas from sponsored walks to bake sales and craft table top sales. Not only have these C&YP
been through these difficult experiences themselfs but are now willing to go beyond and help others. They aim to visit schools around the Scottish Borders and tell others about domestic abuse and raise awareness doing this. I am truly proud of each one of these C&YP
