Leith X Penicuik WXV Try-Athalon to Orkney! · 28 February 2026

After a fantastic season, the Leith WXV are teaming up with Penicuik WXV and gearing up for our next big challenge — the National Plate! With some exciting fixtures announced, we will round off our campaign with an away day expedition to Orkney!

While we are thrilled about this trip, it presents a unique set of challenges that will keep us on our toes. To prepare ourselves and raise funds for our journey, we are excited to announce our own team TRY-athalon covering the distance between Leith Rugby Club and Orkney Rugby Club.

Women’s sport continues to be underfunded, and your support can make a genuine difference. We are passionate about inspiring the next generation of young female rugby players, and there’s no better way to do that than by striving for our best cup run yet.
