Story

Leo, aged 10, has Cerebral palsy and although pretty active, he often has to use a wheel chair now, as he finds it difficult to walk long distances.

Lately, Leo has been lucky enough to borrow a wheelchair from a friend , which is much lighter and easier to manouvre than his old one, and he is now desperate to have one of his own!

This new wheelchair would mean he would be able to get around on his own much more easily, as well as do cool things like wheelies, and hopefully some sports.

Leo is of course known for his lions' mane of strawberry blond curls, and has decided he'd like to raise money for a new wheelchair through being sponsored to have it all cut off!!

UPDATE: As Leo has raised more than his £250 target , the excess will start a fund to buy him a specialised trike or bicycle, which would enable his family to get out and about on their bikes!

As his hair is 10 inches long, he will also be able to donate it to be used in wigs for children, through the Little Princess Charity http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk
