I have decided to make this page for anyone who would like to support Leo throughout his fight.

For those who don't know I am a single mum of 3 beautiful children, Mia 9, Leo 7 and Katie 6.

Any parents worst nightmare became a reality for me when my precious boy Leo was diagnosed with an aggressive grade 4 cancer on his brain, it all started one evening when leo became unresponsive following a seizure and had to be intubated and ventilated , prior to this my boy was fit and well and showed no symptoms what so ever.

The tumor Leo has is very rare, it is called atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT) but it has presented in the form of dusting on his brain (primary diffuse leptomeningeal). I believe that a tumor has only ever presented in this way on 4 occasions worldwide to date.

Leo began his fight on 30/06/2020 he is receiving high doses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy on his entire brain and spine to attempt to fight the cancer as surgery is not an option for Leo due to the form it has presented in. There is not enough research or medical studies to tell whether or not the treatment will be a success however we are taking each day as it comes and hoping for the best.

I am not going to lie, this is by far the hardest thing I have had to digest and prepare to fight, having said this, I need to ensure I manage the mental and physical wellbeing of my children and myself and this is why I have consented for ONE just giving page to support us in this battle against cancer. (This money will be used to assist the family with added expenses, to give Leo beautiful memories and to help pay for any expenses that may arrise for Leo in his very uncertain future).
