Story
The Huruma Orphanage was set up in 2012 near the town of Arusha in Tanzania. Huruma looks after 35 children aged between 4 and 17. Most have been orphaned following the death of one or both parents, often as a result of aids or other life-threatening illness. The Orphanage take in these children and provide basic education, vocational training, and a safe place to live. They also help the children integrate back into society and to find work when they are older enough to do so.
Last year Capital International Group Limited helped to secure the future of the Orphanage through the purchase on land and buildings and our work continues to support this amazing cause.
