Story
The BLUEZ CAFÉ in Bulawayo provides access to many musical instruments already donated by people from South Tyneside.
But the Café has appealed for a drum kit because: “In Zimbabwe, there are very few female musicians. Many are ‘attached’ to bands but never reach their full potential. There is only one single female drummer in the whole country.”
We want to buy a drum kit in South Africa and send it to Bulawayo so women can learn new skills and develop new possibilities for a career in music.
