Story
Many of you will have read or heard about the sad passing of Les Reed. Les was a lovely man who will be fondly remembered at Roffey CC for his involvement with senior and junior cricket.
There is little doubt that the Club’s success over the last decade has been in large part down to the work done by Les in the 1990s and 2000s. The help and encouragement that he provided to young players aided their development, not only as cricketers, but as individuals too.
Les was a lovely man and impossible to replace.
As a Club, we have decided to fundraise for a scoreboard to be erected in Les’ name. We see it as a means for his legacy live on at Roffey and for us, as Club, to show how thankful we are for his dedication to cricket at Roffey.

What a wonderful way to remember Les. He was a tremendous supporter of Roffey Cricket Club, giving his time, skills and knowledge to so many at the club. Les was a lovely man and will be sadly missed.
