Whilst in Tanzania (climbing Kilimanjaro) I volunteered at a local school which is now seeking to buy a projector for their newly built dining hall.

This projector is going to be used to generate further income for the school by letting people pay to come and watch football and various other events in the school.

With the World Cup near by, we are aiming to have raised enough money to buy the projector in time for this. This will mean that people from villages all around the area can come and pay to watch the world cup at the school, not only generating a significant amount of income for the school but also providing enjoyment to the local community!

The school both teaches and houses children from extremely poor backgrounds and have nowhere else to go. The money earn through this projector will not only be for educational purposes but also to help improve the living conditions and diets of those staying in the school.
