Story
In May 2017, when life completely changed and took a whole 360 turn. I was hit out of the blue by a rare condition. Staying in hospital for 3 months not being able to move my legs, arms or even move left or right was a the most terrifying experiance at only 24yrs of age. From 3 months it became another 3 month, with endless blood tests, ultrasounds, scans, mri scans that could not seem to find the answer. By this time every test was tried out and one last hope from one more test was given. To undertake a biopsy to see and find the cause. After several atempts the condition was diagnosed to be being very rare in the uk called polymositis- a life long condition. When I was given the news I had no idea what this was and how it could and was affecting my life. With the help of all the staff in the ward i stayed in, the doctors that i was under, physios at hospital and at the rehab center, were i had to learn to walk and move again. With all the help i made my first step forward and made that first step of being able to stand up on my feet and walk. And then BANG!!!! 360 turn. I was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma cancer. I did not let this break me because not being able to move and walk was the biggest obstacle for me and i just saw this as another that i had to power through. Having going through chemotherapy, it had its affect an weakend my body, from struggling with day to day tasks, now being wheelchair bound because of this condition (polymositis) not being able to walk long distances nor stand for long. I just thought i was going back to sqare one as it left me feeling really weak. After spending all that time in hospital and rehab i finally got discharged an finally came back home. And now life is different, i can no longer do what i use to, i have to re addjust and re arrange everything to facilate my needs now. I would be really greatful if each one of you could donate which will enable to buy eqipments and nessessary tools to help get by on a day to day(some things are not available via nhs) which is why with such ache i am choosing this root. All donations will be much appriaciated and i will also give from this collated donations towards cancer charities, carrying on the chain of helping someone is never a bad idea, also because this is one big part of my journey. God bless you all.
