I've decided to do something completely out of my comfort zone and apply for next years great south run and raise some money for my good friend Damo. If you haven't read his story please read below.

I hate running so so much but it will worth every step and I might lose a bit of fat😂 and get fit in the process
he will need continued care so please give as much or as little as you can and we will help him get through this.
I might have a few jogging partners too so keep your eyes out
Much love
Xx
Here is Damien's story,
In June 2017 Damien unfortunately had an accident whilst mountain biking in France. The result being a broken neck and damage to the spine. This caused instant paralysis from the neck down.
After spending time in ICU in Geneva and Southampton he is now in a rehabilitation facility in Salisbury.
Despite numerous set backs Damien is still staying focused and giving 110%. His attitude towards his situation has been incredibly positive and truly inspiring. Seeing how far he has already come and the battles he has already won has been nothing short of amazing.
We are hoping to raise funds to purchase a specially adapted power wheelchair and other specialised equipment. The wheelchair alone can cost in excess of £8000 but will give Damien back some independence and allow him to enjoy what he loved most.... the great outdoors.
Please help by donating, no matter how big or small it will be gratefully received.
