For those of us who sit night after night enjoying a hot meal, do we ever see the reality that happens infront of us. People in other homes or may not even have homes wonder when their next hot meal will come.

Men and women who have served our country left with nothing, Children who sleep with hunger pains, elderley who may not make it through the winter because they can not afford the luxury of using a cooker and heating their homes!

If i can make one difference in life it will be to help people who need it, if you and your family were hungry who would you turn to? I want to offer the people of our community the chance to recieve a hot meal ready cooked for them, or a back of shopping to tide them over in rough times.

I need the help of the local people and local community centres and churches to allow us to use their facilities in order to allow people to come in and have a hot meal and a warm drink. To socialise and feel normal, even for just an hour.

My aim would be to provide this service every day of the week at different locations throughout Darlington from 6.30pm to 8pm. It may not start that way with only being able to do it a couple nights a week, but the more money and help we get the more people we can help and luves we can save.

people need warm clothes and blankets this is a way of helping if you cannot afford to donate, how many clothes do you have at home that you do not wear?

donations can be made via cash, clothes, shoes, blankets, plastic cutlery, plastic or paper cups, foil trays, saucpans, cooking utensils and by donating food and toys.
