David is a smart and lively 10 year old boy who's life was devastatingly interrupted last year by cancer.

David has Osteosarcoma which is a very rare form of bone cancer. He has thus far undergone 3 operations and months of grueling chemo all the while suffering excruciating pain in his leg.

Throughout this immensely difficult time, David has shown incredible courage. He has been 'attending' and participating in class via video link and even gave a presentation last Thursday.

However, chemotherapy has failed to eradicate his cancer and the consensual advice from doctors is for him to try a new combination of drugs which is not available under his national insurance plan. Even David's private medical insurance does not cover the cost of these medications.

These medicines would dramatically increase David's chance of survival.

The cost of David's medication is £20,000 per month for a year at least. David would need to start this treatment within the next 6 weeks.
