Ever thought of taking a holiday to Africa? Here’s a perfect opportunity to walk with the Midlands African Forum (MAF) from the UK to Addis Ababa (headquarters of the African Union). With brighter and longer days, coupled with the glorious sunshine we are experiencing, please take the opportunity to journey along with us to Africa. The journey is approximately 9,300km (approximately 12.2 million steps) from London to Addis Ababa. We are aiming to raise £10,000 as we take a walk together through the valleys, over the mountains and across the waters.

As part of our fundraiser for a charity in Africa supporting food security, we will be taking daily steps (as they say, “a journey of a thousand miles starts with a step”) starting from 1 May 2022 to 31 May 2022.

We hope that everyone who gets to see this appeal will chose to join us in the walking or running. However should this not be possible, please do donate and or spread the word to family and friends (the more the merrier) so that we are able to meet our target of £10 000.
