I've raised £500 to help Durham Scouts attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree to West Virginia, USA & the International Scout Camp in Kandersteg, Switzerland

On Sunday 13th May 2018, Stuart, Lewis and Jacob Dunn will abseil 160 feet down the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge to raise funds for Unit 33 to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, USA, and Durham County Scouts to attend Kandersteg International Scout camp in Switzerland, in the summer of 2019. These expeditions will offer a once in a lifetime opportunity for all attendees.
Lewis and Jacob have already participated in, and are organising a number of, fundraising events, e.g. coffee mornings, bag packing, Ceilidh (9 June 2018) and Race Night (13 October 2018).
As you may know, Stuart is a model of fitness and doesn't like heights (or walking etc.); scared by walking over Gateshead's Millennium Bridge! Unlike Lewis and Jacob who have had many beneficial experiences through Scouting, Stuart has never abseiled or done anything adventurous like this before. Please be generous with your pledges to support these good causes, and make sure Stuart does go over the edge with his sons.
