I'm part of the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Youth board, our aim is to help people in the best possible way. We started raising awareness for the blind earlier this year, we decided to run a blind football tournament for junior football teams and invited them to the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre to take part. We also invited down a blind charity Galloways to help us raise awareness for the blind. The tournament was that much of a success that we was nominated and won an award for the nations best youth board. We managed to help so many people from this and have decided to continue our raising awareness by going to Berlin in January and meeting up with a blind charity over their called VIEWS. Whilst I'm there I'm hoping to put braille into shops so then the blind understand what they are shopping for, spend a day as a blind person myself and as well as this raise awareness not only locally and nationally but internationally. To make this happen I am looking to raise £250 and unfortunately can't do this without sponsorship. Anyone who would kindly sponsor me no matter how big or small would be very much appreciated.
