We are part of a government run scheme that helps get young people out of the house and make a difference to the community. Our brief was to make a difference in society and so we decided that we wanted to work with the elderly and help make a difference to society. Our main aim is to work with those with Alzhiemers and dementia and help give them hope and love. Upon going into multiple care homes we learnt how entertainment is very rare for them due to the high costs people require for a limited time. We want to work with care homes and help get those with Alzhiemers active and talking. Alzhiemers is one of the most degrading diseases. Often there are heartbreaking cases of the most intelligent people being stripped bare of all memories due to this progressive disease. Many people dont know how to approach alzhiemers suffers. Our belief is that we should make them feel like nothing happened and work with them in a normal and loving way. We are passionate in wanting to make a difference and we are asking for money in order to help not only raise awareness of alzhiemers but make a difference to the suffers life. The money that we raise will go to helping provide fun activites and also help charties to continue trying to beat this illness.
