This August i will be travelling to India in order to improve the standard of living for children in poor slum conditions. I will be doing this by volunteering at a charity school set up to provide a free education for children, to encourage them to develop skills for progression rather than begging on the streets. For example by helping them to improve their English skills - which are vital for future employment.

The overall aim of the trip will be to try and enhance the lives of children, in a country where the disparity of wealth is so extreme.
