I'm raising £20000 to Make Lexi's Christmas wish come true!

Story

In May, we were on a family holiday to celebrate Lexi turning 13. Lexi spent the 10 days in Turkey laughing with her cousins and living life to the fullest—carefree and happy. Just 3 weeks later, everything changed.

In June, Lexi was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer of the heart. It’s a diagnosis so rare, most doctors will never see a case like it. Since then, she’s been through two open-heart surgeries, has had a pacemaker fitted, and is now undergoing intensive chemotherapy.

While Lexi was in surgery, we also had to say goodbye to her beloved dog—her best friend and constant companion. It was a heartbreak on top of heartbreak.

These last few months have been a whirlwind of hospital stays, fear, and uncertainty. But through it all, Lexi has stayed positive, strong, and full of hope. She’s handled every challenge with a courage that leaves us all in awe.

And even now, she’s still dreaming.

Lexi has always been obsessed with Christmas—especially the movie Home Alone. Her biggest wish is to visit New York at Christmas, to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree and all the festive magic of the city, just like Kevin in the movie.

We’re hoping to raise £20,000 to help make her wish come true:

To take her to New York this Christmas (if she’s well enough to travel), and

To create her dream bedroom at home, a peaceful, cozy space where she can rest and recover surrounded by comfort and joy.

After everything she’s been through, we just want to give Lexi something to look forward to. Something magical. Something that feels like hope.

If you can help in any way—through a donation, a share, or just by keeping Lex in your thoughts—we’d be so grateful. Let’s make her Christmas wish come true. 🎄💖

Thank you,

Becky and Brad
