Our baby girl lexi ann Anderson was born 39 weeks and 3 days weighing a healthy 7 pound 1. Unfortunately there was problems and lexi needed help with breathing straight away and was not moving. Lexi was transferred to arrow park neonatal unit day 2 of her life where leXi under went investigations as lexi was not getting better, me and David as parents found this heartbreaking to see our little girl go through all of this. Doctors had a meeting with us and said it would be in lexi's best interests to look at end of life care as lexis condition was worsening rather then getting better. Test after test and no results was so hard.
Lexi was such a fighter and with help of doctors and lexi's special nurses we made memories -lexi was the first baby to be ventilated and come out in her very own pram into the side garden we also bathed in the birthing pool which was sensational it was a little intense at first but doctors and nurses was always there to make this the happiest time for us. Arrow park won an award for this it was incredible "lexi's legacy we called it " I would like to say a special thankyou to doctors and nurses for making our 4 months with lexi so special and would love to give a little something back towards help with equipment for parents able to make them special lifetime memories and sadly not being able to take their baby home...
LexI you was a inspirational special little girl and we love you!!!.....you will live on...
