Story

In summer 2019, I will be off to Madagascar for a month on a World Challenge expedition.

Whilst I am there, I will spend almost 2 weeks trecking and camping in the rainforest, getting the oppurtunity to see all the amazing wildlife and the beautiul surroundings that they live in.

Besides this, I also spend a week doing a community project which often involves building new schools or facilities for the local community to help improve their standard of life. To do this, we have to provide all the resources ourselves which can be very expensive and so we need all the help we can get to raise enough money to support this! In doing this, we get to spend a lot of time with the people in the local community which hopefully will allow us to take part fully in their culture and see first hand how our hard work pays off to benefit their lives. Other voluntary work we plan to do in Madagascar is several days of plantation in the rainforest to grow more of a species of tree which is rapidly decreasing and could potentially be endangering the lives of many animals in that habitat. Our final bit of volutary work is Turtle rehabilitation on the beaches which I am beyond desperate to do!

I‘m so excited for this trip and hope you can see why! Any donation you could give to the funding of this once in a lifetime oppurtunity would be massively appreciated as most of our time and effort goes into trying to help the community and wildlife of Madagascar as much as we possibly can! Without your donations we would be unable to carry out all the fantastic work we have planned for when we’re over there, so I’m extremely greatful to be able to do this and have massive gratitude for everyone who has helped me, thank you so much!
