Story
Prom is always a big thing for teenagers and most often than not makes memories that'll stay forever.
It's come to our attention (an lgbt+ youth group) that many LGBT+ youths can't go to their own prom with the people they'd want for reasons that maybe they can't or don't feel safe or comfortable.
Fundraising our own prom would be an amazing opportunity for all LGBT+ people to go to and be themselves, all within a carefree zone.
This prom would be open to public (entry fee would be small and people would have to email an adult incharge before coming for details) and anyone between 13 and 18 would be welcome as long as they're part of the lgbt+ community. We as for £600 as a minimum as it is a steady goal and unachievable. With a bit of luck we over achieve and can do our very best.
We hope this prom can be out forward and we look forward to see everything come to life 💜🌈

7 years agoTo anyone whom would like to know information in regards of having people put on waiting lists, if you would like to email me about it, I am more than happy to speak to you! We don't as of yet have a waiting list, however I'm very sure your child will have a ticket. Hopefully information about times and places will be varified soon and updates will take place. Thankyou so much to everyone making donations and spreading awareness, none of this would be happing without it 💖

We go to an LGBT+ youth group & have realised that many young lgbt+ members are scared to come out/go to prom with their partners. Many people don't have prom as their schools don't allow them, or possibly homeschooling. We want to ensure people can have their prom & feel safe.
