I'm raising £500 for two LGBT+ and socialist Kenyan groups, LEHA and the Communist Marxist Party of Kenya's first pride event, during our massive fundraising marathon on Twitch!

Based in rural Mount Kenya, LEHA has been a lifeline since 2015 for LBQ women, non-binary, and gender-non-conforming folks facing extreme isolation, discrimination, and violence. In a region where access to urban safety nets is non-existent, LEHA provides crisis safeguarding, mental healthcare, and the tools to challenge systemic abuse.

Comrades at the Communist Marxist Party of Kenya have organised their first revolutionary and working class focused queer pride and we supporting that as well.

This event is about more than just charity; it’s an act of solidarity and reparations for the ongoing legacy of colonial-era anti-LGBTQ+ laws. Join lesbianhotsauce and a lineup of incredible streamers for a day of games, quizzes, documentaries, and direct talks with LEHA representatives. Let’s show up, throw some solidarity their way, and fund a future where the rural LBQ community in Kenya can thrive safely!
