Story
Our son Liam More has relasped acute lymphoblastic leukemia less then a year after finising 4 years treatment when he was first diagnosed aged 2 in 2014. We are uncertain of liams future therefore we want to spend as much time with him as possible while he tries to beat this for the second time. We feel liam will benefit from having both his dad and i with him as much as poasible therefore he ia unable to go to work and provide for his family. Liam has another 2 years of more intensive treatment to start now. We would really appreciate your help.

6 years agoWe got the results back last week of Liam's bone marrow test and needs a bone marrow transplant as the chemo hasn't worked again. This wasn't the news we were wanting and it's absolutely devastating knowing he's got to have this done. Although we have been allowed home for the Christmas until Boxing Day but he still has to go into daycare for treatment while we are home. He's going to be in hospital the majority of January so we are gona make the most of this break at home. Thanks for your support and happy Christmas xx

6 years agoWeek 6 Liam had a bone marrow test and lumbar puncture. We have an anxious few days ahead while we wait to hear the results. We hope he won't need a bone marrow transplant. There's only 50% chance of remission this time because he has relapsed. He's had his feeding tube out for a few weeks now and is keeping himself active walking around the ward. He's been on a drip the majority of the time so he has to take it easy. He woke up one night unable to breathe properly due to an allergic reaction, it was so scary. Thanks everyone for ur support!

6 years agoLiam was allowed off his drip on sunday for the first time in 3 weeks for a while. He was so happy he ran through the corridor and fell into dads arms. I think we are at the halfway point then we can go home hopefully before Christmas. Liam's been feeling very sick most of the time and he unfortunately spewed up his feeding tube last night so the nurse took it out and he was such a brave boy. Was a relief for him as he could finally enjoy the macaroni cheese with bacon he was craving for days! Thank you everyone for you support!
