Story

As most of you are aware, our beloved best friend Liam passed away on the 16th May after a really hard battle with bile duct cancer.
Liam was officially diagnosed with the rare form of cancer on the 30th September after his wife Jacqueline got the call from Liams doctors, meaning she had to go home to Liam and break the devastating news to him.
Liam went on to have multiple drains placed into his liver between October and November, followed by a full day operation removing 3/4 of his liver and the tumour.
Unfortunately after surviving the operation Liams health deteriorated again and in February this year he was told he only had one year to live. Liam got married a few days later and went on to have a good few weeks health wise before going into lockdown, never once moaning, or giving up, he was determined to prove everyone wrong and live as long as he could for his wife and his four year old son.
In April Liam had to go into hospital alone due to the coronavirus as he was having a few complications, again his wife Jac got the call from the doctors giving her bad news again explaining that Liam now only had two weeks left. Jac again had to pick liam up that night from the hospital, drive him home, sit him down and break the news to her husband.
Liam went on to celebrate his 28th birthday with his family and friends, a day which he really loved, he went over the two weeks which he told everyone that he would, he never gave up his strength until the very end, which was Saturday the 16th May 2020, leaving everyone he knew broken hearted.
Liam was like no other, he was kind, bright, funny, a best friend to everyone that he ever met and he was an amazing plumber building his business up to be very successful because he always took pride in his work and took care of all of his customers.
We are raising money to help pay towards Liams headstone which is costing over £2000, a headstone which unbelievably he had chosen a design online himself. His wife wants to make sure he has what he wanted if not better and we would like to try and help her out with this.
Sadly due to Liams medical history he was unable to take out a life insurance policy so Jacqueline has had to cover the costs. Liam wanted everyone to look after his wife and his son in any way possible, they were his world and the two people he was no longer going to be able to provide for.
Helping towards this cause will be helping them both just like he asked of all of

The Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge on the 3rd October 2020.
Anyone who would like to join us please message your name to either myself or Jacqueline so we can arrange for a t-shirt to be made and meeting point information.
