Story
In October 2019 I suffered a major stroke and was admitted to Ipswich Hospital spending 5 months on the stroke ward attending ICU on occasions. In March 2020 I was transferred to the rehabilitation unit at Caroline House in Norwich for a further 5 months.
I was discharged and well enough to come home in August 2020 continuing with physio at the Icanho Centre in Stowmarket.
The road to recovery was tough, painful and very emotional but my progress has defied the odds and been pretty amazing.
Family, friends and myself would like to show our thanks and appreciation to all the staff that helped me on my road to recovery.
Consequently a sponsored bike ride from Ipswich Hospital to Caroline house, returning to Ipswich has be organised.
Any contribution you can make to this worthy cause would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support.
