I've raised £285 to Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services - Skydive

On the 25th of January I will be jumping out of a plane (with Skydive Swansea) at 12,000ft to raise money for Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services. They are a local charity based in Blaina who help victims of domestic abuse - women, men and children - and educate perpetrators.
Domestic abuse is defined as 'any incident of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of their gender or sexuality'.
So many smart people decide to stay with the wrong person for so many difficult and personal reasons. Phoenix House allows people to have another option - to leave - and supports them through the process.
I want to bring awareness to the charity as it covers the entirety of Blaenau Gwent and then some. Follow the link below to find out more about their services.

Disclaimer: I have received written permission from the charity (#1112039) to fundraise on their behalf. The funds raised will go into my bank account as I could not find them on JustGiving charities. They have also given me permission to use some of the funds to pay for the dive but I have paid for the deposit myself. All profits go to the charity once the dive has been completed. Should the dive be cancelled due to bad weather, it will be rebooked.
