Liberty house, ‘Luton to Glasgow’ Bike-A-Thon, 11th August 2018

Liberty House Worship Ministry, Luton, is a Church designed to meet the needs of the community in this generation. There are many people out on the streets who are hungry, destitute and have given up on life.

Our community projects such as the outreach Soup Kitchen Ministry is about getting in touch with as many people by feeding them and offering hope and support.

We are also passionate about the safe development of our youth, however we are also deeply concerned with the rising levels of crime, violence and drug misuse within our community.

We want to be part of the solution by working together with like minded organisations by offering a safe facility, where the youth can meet and be part of actives such as youth club, workshops and mentoring.

On the 11th August 2018, Church members will be participating in the Liberty house, ‘Luton to Glasgow’ Bike-A-Thon team event, covering an estimated distance of 360 miles.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Health and Fitness charity event on that day. The overall duration for the Bike-A-Thon is 12 hours starting from 6am to 6pm. This will be performed on Stationary bikes covering an average distance 15 miles per 60 min cycle.

All participants are required to complete either 30 or 60 mins cycle. A certificate of achievement will be issued to prove completion.
