I've raised £5000 to help improve the facilities for both the parents and the babies at both the Neonatal Units at the RVH, Belfast and Antrim Area Hospital

Meet the ninjas, Freddy, Charly & Lexy born at 32+6 weeks in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on the 17th November 2016 weighing 4lb6.5oz, 3lb9oz & 3lb1oz. They spent 4 weeks and 4 days between the two Neonatal Units whose specialised care helped our ninjas thrive and survive. We were lucky, we were aware our babies would not be coming home for a while after delivery, but for some they go into early labour, and find themselves bewildered and frightened in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, watching and scared to touch their tiny, and often very sick babies. There are facilities, however limited, for parents where they can take time out, breathe, cry OR pump that very important golden liquid, but as with every space it needs updating and with the current NHS constraints it often gets pushed to the back of the queue.
