£0raised of £10,000 target by 0 supporters

Weʼve raised £0 to light up our 5 tennis courts, for the use of Highworth Tennis Club and the community of Highworth!

    Highworth, Swindon, UK
Closed on Sunday, 30th September 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

There is currently a limit to how many people can take advantage of the club’s courts due to only 2 of 5 courts being floodlit. Court availability in the evenings is limited and we need to light up our courts so that Tennis can be played in the evenings all year round. We would like to open up to the public for pay-and-play and we also want to encourage more sports in Highworth so we are looking at adding a netball court to our facility. By upgrading to coin/token-operated lighting we can ensure that the facility will work for everyone. We really want to encourage people to try tennis, or come back to tennis if they played many moons ago. It is a really good way of keeping fit and a game that is enjoyed by people of all ages!

At Highworth Tennis Club we love tennis & want more people to play! We need to light up our 5 courts to maximise usage when we introduce a public pay-and-play system in late 2018. New netball courts will also add an extra sport to our offering! Exciting times! Please support us!
