Light Up Axminster was formed in January 2017 in response to an open meeting held in November 2016 to discuss the future of the town's Christmas lights.

Since the first meeting the group decided to focus not only on Christmas lights, but brightening up the town throughout the year through celebratory events that bring our whole community together.

From resurrecting the towns historic Cherry Fayre, promoting activities by groups and organisations in the town and other celebratory projects including this years Christmas Lantern Parade celebration, we aim to raise fund all year round to provide exciting opportunities for people to join together.
