I am going to Tanzania for 2 weeks from 29th June - 13th July 2019 with friends from 4 schools in Belfast on a trip run by Go Make A Difference. We will be based in Musoma, located in Northern Tanzania, a beautiful area, which is rarely visited by tourists.

GoMad have been well established in this location for since 1996 and have developed very deep friendships with many local people. They help the local community by various initiatives including building water tanks, goat sheds and low cost houses, teach in local schools, provide health education in the villages and help with local businesses.

The flight from London to Nairobi is 10 hours, followed by a long coach journey to Musoma. To help GoMad fund projects while we are there and also to help with getting there, I am doing a 10 (ten!) mile walk on Sunday 9th June from Trassey to Bloody Bridge, circumnavigating the Mourne Mountains.
