Emergencies

Story

Unfortunately today at Swaffham Mcdonalds we had an emergency which involved performing CPR on a customer. It's something that you never think will happen, and something you never wish to see happen again. However, we all know that it happens every single day. Thankfully, the emergency services were absolutely incredible and arrived within minutes. However, this isn't the only emergency the store has ever had, and it certainly won't be the last. For this exact reason, we as a restaurant would like to raise as much money as possible to get a defibrillator installed at the restaurant, and possibly in other locations around the town. Statistics show that the chance of survival with a defibrillator is almost 90% higher than that with compressions alone.

We will be holding fundraiser events at the store over the next few months, or as long as it takes to raise enough money, and we would like as many of you to get involved as possible. More information on these events will be available soon. Any amount of money, no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated, and would mean the absolute world to us. If you would like to come in store and donate that would be amazing, but this page has been started to not only raise money, but also raise awareness for something so important. There are very few people who know the importance of a defibrillator in these types of situations. If anyone knows of any other ways to raise awareness that would be fantastic, and if you would like to get in touch then please message me, or come in store and speak to one of our managers. Thank you in advance to anyone who donates or raises awareness and supports us, it is truly appreciated and it is so important that we get the word out for this. THANK YOU!!!
