I've raised £2000 to Help Lily Owen travel to Borneo so she can help some of the poorest communities in the world.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page because, as of the summer 2018, I will be travelling with Kesteven Grantham Girls School , as part of a volunteering expedition to help some of the poorest communities in the world, in Borneo.
We will be helping the community of Tenom to maintain it's farm, build houses and will become active members of their community. As well as visiting the endangered orangutan and moonbear sanctuaries in Sepilok. I would absolutely love to be able to go on the expedition so I can help the Tenom community. I have been working hard for the past year to raise the funds needed for the trip by working weekends at a cafe from 9:00 till 4:00, doing car boot sales and movie nights at my school. Despite all of my wages and tips going straight into my Borneo fund I still need some help in achieving the money needed to go. It will be a once in a life time trip that will allow me to gain valuable skills whilst making a difference to the lives of those who might need it. If you feel you would like to help me to fund this trip, then any donation, no matter how big or small would be appreciated forever by me and the Tenom community.
Thank you very much, Lily Owen x
