Story
Salam everyone, I hope you can take the time out to donate and share this page. Our brothers and sisters in Yemen are crying out for help, as the situation in Yemen is defined as the world’s worst man-made humanitarian disaster.
In Yemen, three-quarters of the population – that’s over 22 million people – need humanitarian assistance to survive. Tragically, a child dies every ten minutes. One in every three children in Yemen is at risk of acute malnutrition, and 85,000 babies and toddlers have starved to death. Yemenis are living through the worst humanitarian disaster in the world, the most severe cholera epidemic since records began, and are on the brink of the worst famine in a century. Yet 42% of the UK don’t even know about the Yemen crisis.
42% is a devastating percentage of people who are unaware about this crisis. I hope that this encourages you to raise awareness and funds in order to help those suffering. Mercy relief's emergency appeal, work to save lives across Yemen. Mercy Relief is distributing food across a wide area and providing food to more than 2 thousand people. They aim to alleviate some of this suffering but need our help to do so. I hope you can assist them in helping our brothers and sisters this Ramadan. May Allah reward you all.
