Lime Kiln Carnival Club are running the 7 carnival routes, a total of 11 miles (17.5km) to raise money for Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset and Lime Kiln Carnival Club.

Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset, formed in 1978, was set up by a group of parents whose children were undergoing treatment for leukaemia, now strive to raise money and awareness to help improve facilities for leukaemia and lymphoma patients and their families in Somerset.

All donations made will be split between the Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset and the Carnival Club, Lime Kiln Club members will set off on the 7 different routes on Saturday 9th September to raise money for both charities and help raise awareness of the support the Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset contributes to families in Somerset.

Kicking off at around 9am on Saturday 9th September, Lime Kiln Club Members will start off on the Glastonbury Carnival route and throughout the day will be covering Shepton Mallet, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-On-Sea and North Petherton, before finishing the run of events in Bridgwater, at the Lime Kiln Pub.
