According to the UN, 850 million people are chronically hungry in sub-Saharan Africa. Also, according to Action Aid, 1 in 3 persons are chronically hungry in Nigeria. Shepherd Food Ministries (SFM) is at the forefront of alleviating chronic hunger among vulnerable people through empowerment to acquire skills and have access to microfinance. In addition, SFM works with smallholder farmers to reduce post harvest loss, estimated at over 40 percent due to bad crop harvest handling and lack of processing facility.

I am participation in Lincoln 10K Marathon on 14.04.24 to raise money to support SFM's mission to overcome poverty.
