Story
Jack(Bubba), along with his loving parents Clint & Danielle are on a challenging journey. Jack was born in January 2017 after a journey that began in Prague, where he was conceived via IVF treatment, a very much wanted, planned and dreamed of baby. Having waited years for a miracle to happen Clint & Danielle were overjoyed to meet their little "Bubba" at last.
Sadly however, Jack has disabilities due to the effects of contracting CMV (cytomegolavirus) while developing in the womb. Devastatingly, Jack has co ordination problems and is severely visually impaired and registered blind with diffused viral brain damage (who would know that those beautiful blue eyes do not work as they should!). At 18months Jack cannot sit up unaided. But Jack is a fighter, he gurgles with joy when he hears the nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, he reacts to coloured lighting and soothing voices and recently started to eat textured food from a spoon.
Nobody can say or know how far Jack will develop physically or mentally. Communication, sitting and walking abilities are skills we each take for granted when watching our babies grow to be toddlers and little people to teenagers and independent adults, we each have expectations and wants for the best for our children. For Clint & Danielle the future is an unknown quantity but positivity and faith in a fulfilling future is what moves this little family forward to consider and try whatever options, treatments and offers of help is available.
I would like to raise £1000 for Jack as each stage of his life will bring its own unique challenges, hurdles to face and mountains to climb but with your help we can start by giving what we can, helping to purchase items that will stimulate Jack making life more comfortable and enjoyable.
BIG LOVE XXX
