Story

Our challenge is now completed! Martin finished the full Chester Marathon in 4 hours 11 minutes on October 11th. Please help us to reach our target of a grand total of £2,000 or more! Thank you to all of you that have already donated to our cause. We are so grateful! We have received donations of £1,010 from our early fundraising by running the Chester 10k and Half-Marathon.

We committed to running the Chester Triple together, three races. The 10k in March, the Half Marathon in May and the Metric Marathon (Linda) and full Marathon (Martin), on October 11th. Martin continued his training and finished the full Marathon. Sadly, in mid September, Linda hurt her right knee and had to stop running.

Pebbles department at St. Christopher's special needs school in Wrexham is for children aged 6-12 years old that have complex needs, including ASD, Speech, Language Attention and Communication Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties alongside Sensory, Physical and Medical Needs. Linda works in Pebbles in Culwch class as a Special Needs Teacher and her husband Martin is a devoted supporter.

We are raising funds to provide much needed resources to support the children to reach their full potential as they grow and move throughout St. Christopher's School. Many children at St. Christopher's started their journey in the Pebbles Phase before they moved on to another Phase.

Please support us by contributing to our Just giving page, at this final stage, because every pound we raise counts.
