Hi my name Gracie Blades and, i’ve been lucky enough to have been selected as a semi finalist for Miss Teen Great Britain and as part of my role I will be participating in a lot of fundraising to raise money for Together For Short Lives which supports children around the UK with life threatening and life limiting illnesses and Breast Cancer Uk which has tragically affected me and my family recently.

My fundraising ideas are already underway with small gestures to appear soon, however my main fundraising event will be this 20 mile charity walk to raise as much awareness for the two named charities above, I will be hoping for as many people as possibly to join me on this sponsored walk from Whitby to Saltburn.

We will be adding all the information required on this event page as the weeks go by so please keep an eye out for important updates.

Transfers to whitby will be by coach with pick up points being The Roundel,Thornaby at 06.45am and The Fountain, Ormesby at 7am, please note you will be required to make your own way home once the walk is complete, with easy access to Saltburn train station close by.

Then the week after the walk we will regroup for the after walk party on the Teesside Princess on Friday 31st March, kicking off at 7pm ,with a disco and party games and to share the stories of the magnificent achievement you have all just undertaken, and to further more raise awareness and even more much needed funds thanks to the kind staff from The Teesside Princess, there is a capcity of 90 people which will go priority to those who have taken part in the walk more details to follow.

Also and most importantly any vital funds raised will stay on Teesside as requested by our family.
