The first church in Siddal was built in 1869 but the original building quickly became to small for the needs of the growing community. In 1915 our current building was built and since then St Mark's church has been the centre of Siddal Village Halifax celebrating birth, death and marriage and weekly worship of God. The Church of England is commited to not only growing the worshiping community in Siddal but to creating a community hub that all villagers can use. At the moment we have no heat and in the winter that means the building is very cold. Please help us to raise the money needed to heat this fabulous building, to enable us to continue to support local unitormed groups and other activites and to look at new and exciting ventures.
